“Songs in the Key of West” CD Release Party/Concert a Success
April’s CD release party at the Hideaway Cafe in St. Petersburg, Florida was a big success. It was a standing room only crowd who all seemed to be into the trop rock sounds. Steve’s seven piece band included singer songwriter Colin Ward on lead guitar and backup vocals, David York accoustic guitar and backup vocals, former Turtles and Flo & Eddy member Russ Shirley on Bass, Tim Williams on keyboards, Berkley trained Frank Abrami on Drums and giving us that island sound was “Lightning Jack” McGivern on steel drums.
We were back at the Hideaway Cafe this month for their day long first anniversary celebration. The Hideaway Cafe is a unique music venue specifically for singer/songwriters. If you are ever in St. Petersburg I highly recommend this place.
